A sum of EUR 1 million is allocated for the budget to be shared between eight major districts.
We received 340 proposals of which 242 were considered possible.
Priced plans have been drawn up for the proposals during the summer.
All citizens of Turku that turn at least 13 during the voting year are eligible to vote.
Voting takes place on this website between 1 September and 30 September 2020. Voting is carried out with strong identification.
Asukasbudjetti is being built on the principles of community and equality. We hope that as many Turku residents as possible provide proposals and endorse those made by others in order to bring forth diverse views of well-being and its promotion.
All proposals are made using this site. The site also provides information on the progress of participatory budgeting.

An innovation competition linked to the ‘Development of the city centre’ spearhead project is carried out in the city centre area, which is why the area is not included in participatory budgeting. However, people living in the city centre can make proposals and vote on them just like all other residents of Turku.
